The 1st thing I learn from reading the “Living the simple life” book is to make a list of all the stuffs that are just sitting around the house without adding any value to our life. Of course the difficult part is deciding which ones to get rid of & which ones to keep. Obviously we have been keeping too many things that we totally forgotten all about them.
So yesterday I started of by clearing a part of my cupboard & was shocked to find so many old wrist watches that were collected over the years. Most of them were not working at all, but I was just too “sayang” to git rid of them & was maybe hoping to try & fix them one day….. God knows what else I will find as I begin to slowly get rid of all the clutters in our home.
"You'll see that simplifying is not necessarily about getting rid of everything we've worked so hard for. It's about making wise choices among the things we now have to choose from. It's about recognizing that trying to have it all has gotten in the way of enjoying the things that truly do add to our happiness and well-being. So it's about deciding what's important to us, and gracefully letting go of the things that are'nt."
