Yesterday, we decided to try & bake Shepherd’s Pie using minced chicken instead of the traditional minced lamb.
Do you know that :
Shepherd’s Pie is a traditional British dish that consists of a bottom layer of minced lamb in gravy covered with mashed potato.
Whereas, Cottage Pies are those that are made with minced beef.
A similar dish made with fish instead of meat is called a Fisherman’s Pie.
Now what do you call with minced chicken?
Chickee Pie?
Whatever! anyway here are some pics of our Chickee Pies that Albert, Joyce, Sara & Jill happened to turned up at our doorsteps at the right time, after we finished baking.

Hope they like it!
And Mich, don’t worry we have’nt forgotten about you at all.
When you return home in about 3 weeks time, we will make whatever you like that are shown in this blog…….& I ‘m very sure that Albert will be standing outside our door when it’s fresh & ready to eat………..hahahaha!
……& with a fork & knife in each hand…..HAHAHAHAHA!
"You'll see that simplifying is not necessarily about getting rid of everything we've worked so hard for. It's about making wise choices among the things we now have to choose from. It's about recognizing that trying to have it all has gotten in the way of enjoying the things that truly do add to our happiness and well-being. So it's about deciding what's important to us, and gracefully letting go of the things that are'nt."
