About Me

I love cycling to the beach & go for walks with Irene.
Waiting for the day when we both retire & spend time together doing the things that we both enjoy most.

"You'll see that simplifying is not necessarily about getting rid of everything we've worked so hard for. It's about making wise choices among the things we now have to choose from. It's about recognizing that trying to have it all has gotten in the way of enjoying the things that truly do add to our happiness and well-being. So it's about deciding what's important to us, and gracefully letting go of the things that are'nt."

Wow! congrats to Irene for being the “Loser” of the week – 1.1kg – keep it up!…..errr I mean down!
Well at least Grace’s not bouncing anymore, well done!

Alamak! last week I spoke too soon lah. Now my weight still has’nt break through the 90kg barrier.
I think it must be my psychological makeup, eversince I completed my army reservist stint when I turned 40.
From then on it was an uphill task….hahahaha! …..an easy one I might add.

Hope that all of us will be losers in week 10.

Bye! Bryan

Categories: 2006 | February 13th, 2006 | by shiokman | 2 comments

Tonight, Bryan is bound for home – Perth, Australia – after serving our nation for over 2 long years. He looked very happy to be going back to be with his family & friends, eversince they moved down-under 4 years ago.
He left Singapore at 7.50pm & will reached Perth at almost 1am tomorrow morning. Poor guy, has to go to his university for enrolment on the same morning that he arrive. Just hope that he manage to get some sleep in the aircraft. Anyway, just fresh from his National Service should’nt be a problem for him.

Mama, Kon-Kon, Rachel & me at the airport with Bryan before he left.

Maybe, if you look closely at the Flight Info Board above our heads, you may just be able to see his flight displayed : 19:50 – PERTH – QF78

Goodbye Bryan, we will see you again in November.

So sad………..wish I could go with him…….wahhhhhh!!……
………I want to go to Perth also!
