Hot Sweet Meat
Ingredients :
1/2 kg sliced loin pork or chicken fillet
2 big onions sliced
1/2 cup fresh milk or thick coconut milk
Oil for frying
Ingredients A :
2 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoon thick soya sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
Ingredients B :
1/2 cup small onions
2 cloves garlic
20 dried chillies, seeded or 3 tablespoon chilli powder
1 piece belachan
(Grind all the ingredients together)
Ingredients C :
1/2 kg potatoes cut into chips
1 cup cooked green peas
Method :
Step 1 : Marinate the meat with Ingredients A for 15 mins.
Step 2 : Fry the meat in 2 tablespoon oil on slow fire until light brown.
Step 3 : Remove the meat & fry the potato chips until brown.
Step 4 : Add in 3 tablespoon of oil & fry the big inions until 1/2 brown.
Step 5 : Add in the grounded Ingredients B & fry on slow fire for about 5 mins.
Step 6 : Add in the meat & fry for about another 10 mins.
Step 7 : Add in 1/2 cup of water & cook until the meat is tender.
Step 8 : Add in 1/2 cup of fresh milk or thick coconut milk & simmer for about 5 to 10 mins.
Step 9 : Add in the potato chips & cooked green peas.
