Hot Cakes

Ingredients :
150g (1 cup) plain flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 egg, lightly beaten
190ml (¾ cup) milk
1 tablespoons canola oil
Method :

STEP 1 : Sift dry ingredients into a mixing bowl, then add egg, milk, and oil. Stir the mixture until ingredients are well combined, then beat until smooth.

STEP : Heat a small frying pan until hot. Add a little oil to the pan, turn heat to low & pour in enough batter.

STEP 3 : Cook until the tops are bubbly and just beginning to set.

STEP 4 : Wait until the batter is almost dry.

STEP 5 : Carefully turn the pancake over and cook the other side until lightly brown. Repeat with the rest of the batter.
Serve hot or warm with butter, jam, maple syrup, honey or whatever is your favourite topping – ENJOY!
