Santan Biscuits

Ingredients

11 ozs flour
4 ozs almond shread
6 ozs butter
6 ozs sugar
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla

Method

Beat the egg yolk, add butter & sugar & stir well.

Add vanilla, stir in the flour & baking powder & form into a dough.

Roll on two greased proof paper & cut with biscuit cutter.

Sprinkle the top with shredded almonds & brush with the beaten egg.

Bake until golden brown.
