Roti John (Our version)

Ingredients

1 french loaf bread
350g mince pork
150g prawns
1 can luncheon meat or ham (optional)
2 potatoes
1 egg
spring onions/chinese parsley
pepper

Method

Cut the french loaf bread into slices
Peeled & chop the prawns
Mash the luncheon meat
Boil & mash the potatoes
Mix the prawns, minced pork, luncheon meat & potatoes together in a bowl
Add the egg to the mixture
Sprinkle pepper & some chopped spring onions/chinese parsley
Mix everything thoroughly & spread a portion on each sliced french loaf bread
Place them on a baking tray & baked for 10 mins at 180C until bread turns brown & crispy
