Chicken Stew
Ingredients
1 chicken cube
1 litre of water
1 whole chicken
2 large onions
2 large carrots
6 large potatoes
2 cinnamon sticks
8 cloves
cornflour
salt
pepper
black sauce
Method
Cut the whole chicken into small pieces
Slice the carrots & onions
Cut the potatoes into quarters
Fry the cinnamon sticks & cloves in a wok
Add the sliced onions & fry
Add the chicken pieces & fry
Pour in the chicken stock (made from the cube & water) till the chicken pieces are covered
Boil for about 10 minutes
Add carrots & boil till soft
Add potatoes & boil till soft
Thicken the stock with cornflour
Add salt, black sauce & pepper to taste
Let it simmer until chicken are fully cooked
